Who do I contact if I have concerns about a post? The intent of this Group is for light and friendly conversation. If you have technical problems with your rig, we may be able to help you, but there are probably better resources for the serious issues (such as TiffinRVNetwork and iRV2 Tiffin Motorhomes Owners Forum). Feel free to post your model questions, travels, photos, modifications or links to relevant articles and blogs. This group is intended for the discussion of the Tiffin line of gas chassis motorhomes. But we succeeded in the end.Tiffin Open Roaders on Instagram: #tiffinopenroaders and is the focus of this Facebook Group? I do need to say a really big thanks to the people that helped me on this adventure. I have the new wiring harness in the cab of the truck. It goes on the lower left corner of the Ecm. One thing on the new wiring harness, Cummins did install a ground wire directly to the ecm. With the second rebuilt ecm, and the old wiring harness the truck runs as it should. The ecm rebuilder said they installed it on a truck and it operates as designed. ![]() Then you could drive for awhile, until it started to miss again. But if you let the truck idle it would correct itself. There was apparently another problem with that ecm that would appear after the ecm would get hot. ![]() The next thing is that was interacting with our engine, was there was a secondary problem with the original ecm. Then it would say that problem was inactive. The computer readout on the dash was erratic at diagnostics. It was just complicating the diagnostics of the fuel problem. Looking back I believe that the ecm was acting up early in this episode. Off we went and made it back to Montana without changing another filter. I said, No we are not changing filters again. Today I will begin the wife asking about changing the filters again before we left Nashville Tn. In the back of my mind I can think of situations where electronics might not work and there will be a need for even some rudimentary math. I know that calculator use has been relaxed in schools and even college entrance exams but I just can't decide if relaxing the standard for military entrance is a good idea or not. Heck, even my Samsung watch has that function. At that time no aids of any sort were allowed in taking the ASVAB but having people pass the test wasn't nearly the issue that drug usage, mainly marijuana, or physical failures were.Ĭalculators of some sort or another have become ubiquitous in today's everyday life with nearly everyone having a cell phone which has a calculator function. None of the young folks wanted to ship out when it might mean missing a Huskers game. We used to laugh, although it was true, that our hardest time was college football season. Even then meeting goals was tough although we mostly did overall nationally. ![]() What seems dang near a lifetime ago I pulled a 4 year stint as a Navy Recruiter in Lincoln, NE. The reason for doing this is to help in shortfalls of recruiting goals in the three major services (Army, Navy, Air Force). I don't think this is a political topic and hope it will not go in that direction. That is a headline from an article in the Daily Brief email I get from. ![]()
